I have been looking on line at trucks but dreaded the day of going to a dealer and being confronted by pushy salesmen. This did not happen with Roy Robinson. The salesman approached my wife and I, introduced himself and inquired as to what we were looking for. He then asked if I wanted to test drive the truck. The salesman left to get temp plates, gave me the keys to the truck and my wife and I went for a test drive. WHAT A DREAM TRUCK! Once returning to the lot I parked the truck, accepted the salesman's business card and stated that I would be back inside of a week to buy the truck from him. Customer service at the sales end was impeccable and the service department seems to be a mirror image of the sales end. I am truly impressed with my truck. My first visit to Roy Robinson Dealership was less than a month ago. Jason Peterson introduced me to the 2012 Chevy Captiva (after test driving 6 other vehicles on the lot) and the purchase was unbelievably smooth. Putting over 5000 miles on the vehicle, in less than a month, I I scheduled an appointment for an oil change. Why would I expect the Service Department to be as efficient as the Sales Department? I presumed that the smoothness of my purchase experience was probably a fluke and anticipated that my experience with having the vehicle serviced would be similar to past experiences at other dealerships. I was greeted pleasantly, provided paperwork and asked if the tires could be looked at and the air on them checked. "No problem", I was told, "we will also rotate the tires for you." ***, this was going really smoothly.) I was told that I would have to wait probably one and a half hours. (Again,no, problem, I have waited several hours at other places.) While I waited I stopped by the Parts Department. The very kind gentleman spent time researching the part I was looking for and even did an Internet search. Then he came out to me in the waiting room and explained about the part, and where I might be able to find it. I was impressed! I had brought work with me knowing that the wait would probably be longer than what I was told (it always has in the past). 45 minutes later, much to my surprise, I was told the Captiva was ready for me. WOW! In the parking lot the Captiva had been washed, vacuumed, the plates had been put on (thank you for doing that!), oil changed and the tires rotated. Seriously what an incredible experience! I did think that the Sales experience was smooth and probably an anomaly,and that the Service Department couldn't also work so efficiently, but this day proved me wrong! Brought my '08 Corvette in for a key fob malfunction. Battery was recharged but didn't resolve fob problem. Ended up replacing the remote control door lock receiver. I had no appointment but my front headlight was out on the passenger side so I dropped by Roy Robinson to see if they would have time to install a new one. They worked me into their schedule, washed my car too, and I was on my way in about an hour. In fact when it was time to pay, they reminded the cashier that I am entitled to a military discount. Responded to online posting for 2008 Saturn Vue XE. Brodie Howe was so helpful. Made buying from your dealership a pleasure. He amused my 3 small grandkids with baloons and popcorn.
